Anne L. Sullivan, of Southold, died July 28, 2014 at Stony Brook University Hospital. She was 78 years old.
Born Nov. 26, 1935 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Irving and Mary Johnson.
She married Daniel J. Sullivan on March 2, 1957 at Holy Cross Church in Brooklyn. She worked as a mortgage processor at Wolkenberg Morgage Co. in Rockville Centre and was a volunteer at John’s Place and St. Agnes Church. She enjoyed playing bridge, her family said.
In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by her children: Daniel and his wife Susan, of Stony Brook; Gerard and his wife Cheryl, of Ringoes, N.J.; and Karen and her husband Tim of Meskill, Minn. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason, Brendan, Ryan, Megan and Kathleen.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 31, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home, 32470 Main Rd, Cutchogue. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church in Greenport. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Southold.
