John F. La Grego, of Southhold, died August 20, 2014. He was 83 years old.
He was born on June 22, 1931 in North Bellmore to Michael and Agnes La Grego. He went on to marry Kathleen on June 19, 1955.
La Grego worked as a foreman for Verizon. He enjoyed photography and sailing in his leisure time.
He is survived by his wife and his children Chris La Grego of Northport and Patricia Di Gregorio of Southold. He leaves behind his grandchildren Ryan Di Gregorio, Sam La Grego and Ben La Grego.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, August 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home. A service will be held Monday, August 25 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church.
