Three men were saved after their boat capsized in Plum Gut harbor off Orient Point Monday, police said.

According to Southold Town police, the rescue took place at 11:15 a.m. when Rony Palencia, 43, Jhony Palencia, 17, and Emidio Choy, 22, all of Greenport found their 17′ center console boat taking on water; the vessel eventually capsized.

Other boaters in the area picked up the three male subjects from the capsized vessel; a Southold  bay onstable transferred the subjects aboard his patrol vessel and brought them to Klipp Park in Greenport, where Douglas Marine responded and towed the vessel, police said.

No one was injured; no medical attention was needed, police said.
